Contracts
There are two different ways I write up professional contracts; up front project quotes, or hourly quotes by the week.
Project Based: If your project requires an up front project quote there will be a 50% deposit to start your project and the remaining 50% will be paid upon completion of the deliverables.
Hourly Based: If your project/ updates/ maintenance work with my hourly system, there will be a deposit in the amount of one hour to start your contract. Then, you will receive an invoice each Friday for the hours logged the previous week. If payment confirmation is not received by the following Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, I will not continue work the following week until payment has been received.
Cancellations and Potential Refunds
Before: If you need to cancel an order before any work has been completed, you will receive a refund from your deposit minus 10% of your total quote as an administrative fee for processing the contract.
During: If you cancel the order after an amount of the project has been completed, the refund will coincide with the amount of work or hours logged from your deposit.
After: If you cancel the order after most of the work is done and is ready to be delivered, there will be no deposit refund and the work will not be delivered to you. You will also receive a final invoice for the time and work provided after the deposit amount.
